Public Meetings

Mayor and Council

The Mayor and City Council meet monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.   Meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. are held in the Council Chambers at City Hall.   Public hearings are generally held before the meeting at 5:30 p.m..  These meetings are open to the public.  Persons wishing to address the council must do so at the work session held the day before the official meeting.  All public hearings are posted on the door of City Hall.

The Mayor and City Council hold work sessions on the Monday prior to their regular meeting.  These meetings are open to the public.  Persons wishing to be included on the agenda should notify the Mayor no later than the Thursday before the meeting.

Planning and Zoning Commission

The regular monthly meeting for the Planning and Zoning Commission is held at 5:30 p.m. eight (8) days before regular meetings of the Mayor and Council  in the Council Chambers at City Hall.  These meetings are open to the public.  Meetings are only conducted when there is business to address.  Please see the "Planning and Zoning" department page for information on submitting official requests.

All meetings are posted on the door of City Hall at least 24 hours in advance.
